A Guided Hike in Search of Traditional Tyrolian Cuisine

Umbrüggler Alm alpine hut is renowned for its modern ambience and new interpretations of Tyrolean cuisine. Located 1,123m above sea level at the Nordkette, the hut is easy to reach via the forest path from Hungerburg in about 40 minutes.
Arzler Alm has an attractive location, short ascent and excellent cuisine that makes it popular among both locals and visitors.

Itinerary

A wonderful, easy, guided hike for everyone who would love to have a fine balance between physical activity and appreciation of great food!
We will start the day by meeting at Congress Innsbruck from where we are going to take a funicular to Hungerburg. From there we will start a hiking path to Umbruggler alm - a rather modern mountain hut which provides a mixture of a traditional and contemporary kitchen. From there we will continue to Arzler alm - one of the favourite local huts around Innsbruck, due to its delicious food, beautiful views and easy accessibility. After enjoying a coffee, cake or a that cold beer, we will head back and follow the path down to Hungerburg from where we will take the funicular back down to Innsbruck.
A quick tip - its important to always bring some cash with you when visiting Austrian huts.
