The pickup service involves a private driver picking you up at the Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose and driving you to your destination in Tamarindo, a popular beach town on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. The pickup vehicle is typically a comfortable and air-conditioned minivan or SUV that can accommodate your luggage and travel group. During the approximately 4-5 hour drive, you can enjoy the scenic views of the Costa Rican countryside and coastline while your driver takes care of the driving. Some pickup services may also offer additional amenities such as WiFi, bottled water, or snacks. This is a private transportation from San Jose Airport to anywhere in Guanacaste.

The drive from Guanacaste to SJO can change a lot based on traffic. Our recommendation is to leave 8 hours before your flight, this way we will not be in a hurry.
