Day 1: Paro-Haa

Stop At: Chele La, Bhutan
As you touch down at Paro International Airport, prepare to be embraced by the warm hospitality of this tiny nation. Your personal guide will extend a traditional Tashi Khaddar, a sacred white scarf symbolizing auspiciousness. From there, embark on a journey to Haa where your journey to Trans Bhutan begins.
En route to Haa, allow yourself a moment of awe as you pause at the majestic Chele La Pass. Situated at an astounding altitude of 3,988 meters, this lofty mountain pass is adorned with vibrant prayer flags, fluttering in the wind, invoking a sense of tranquility and spiritual connection. Once we reach Haa, you will be ushered to your comfortable accommodations, where you can unwind and settle in.
Later, venture out to explore the sacred wonders of Haa, starting with a visit to Lhakhang Karpo and Nagpo. Immerse yourself in the captivating myths and legends that are intricately woven into the tapestry of these ancient temples .

Day 2: Hike From Haa to Paro( 17Km/8hrs) via Trans Bhutan Trail

Stop At: Paro, Paro, Paro District
Get ready for an exhilarating day of adventure as you leave Haa, setting foot on the historic Trans Bhutan Trail. This very path has been traversed by the resilient inhabitants of Haa for countless generations for trading.
Following the footsteps of the ancients, the trail weaves its way through picturesque yak pastures, enchanting rhododendron forests, and serene pine groves. As it gracefully follows the meandering path of the Haa River, the trail gradually ascends, offering glimpses of the majestic Katsho Valley. At the remarkable Kaleyla Pass, which links the Chelela and Sagala ridge trails, a breathtaking panorama of Mount Jomolhari , Mount Jichudrakegang, and Mount Tsherimgang as the Himalayan range unfolds before you in all its grandeur. Amidst these natural wonders, a delightful picnic lunch will be served.
Descending through a mystical rhododendron and bamboo forest, the trail gradually leads you into the enchanting embrace of the Paro Valley.

Stop At: Kyichu Lhakhang, Lamgong Gewog, Paro 12001 Bhutan
Upon arriving in the quaint village of Ngoma, in Paro, a remarkable sight awaits your eager gaze—Kichu Lhakhang, an ancient temple steeped in history. This sacred sanctuary, believed to have been constructed by the revered Songtsen Gampo in the 7th century, holds deep spiritual significance. Within its hallowed walls resides the cherished Jowo Jamba statue, a revered sculptural masterpiece. Additionally, the monastery courtyard is adorned with two mystical orange trees said to bear fruit throughout the year, a testament to the blessings bestowed upon this sacred site.

Day 3: Explore Trans Bhutan Trail Paro

Stop At: Dopshari, Bhutan
Get ready for a fun filled expedition along the eastern stretch of the Trans Bhutan Trail, following a delightful breakfast this morning. Witness the enchanting panorama of Paro Valley's expansive rice terraces, as the trail gracefully ascends from the charming Lamgong Settlement. Tracing its path along the gentle contours of the northern slope, the trail descends into the historical village of Dopshari, where a world of delightful experiences awaits. Soak in the rich Bhutanese culture with a captivating cooking demonstration and savor a traditional Bhutanese lunch at a nearby farm in Dopshari. Delight in the flavors of authentic cuisine that perfectly encapsulate the essence of this enchanting country.
After lunch, take part in a spirited game of "khuru," a fast-paced traditional Bhutanese sport, and test your skills in the national game of archery, known as darts.
As the day progresses, ascend to Upper Dopshari, where awe-inspiring vistas of the Paro Valley unfold before your eyes.

Stop At: Ta Dzong Museum, Above the Trongsa Dzong, Trongsa Bhutan
Concluding this leg of the trail, you will be chauffeured back to Paro from Upper Dopshari. En route, seize the opportunity to visit the renowned "watchtower" known as Ta Dzong. Explore its intriguing halls and corridors, delving into the captivating history that resides within its ancient walls.

A short drive will lead you to Ramthangkha, located in the northern reaches of Paro Valley, where your ascent to the revered Taktsang Monastery, famously known as Tiger's Nest, will commence. The trail unfolds through a picturesque pine forest, adorned with graceful trees adorned with Spanish moss and occasional clusters of vibrant prayer flags. After experiencing the divine ambiance and celestial views at the Taktsang Monastery, begin your descent, retracing your steps back to the base. As the afternoon approaches, make your way back to the hotel, where you can indulge in a leisurely lunch. The remainder of the day is yours to embrace the serenity of Paro at your own pace.
You may visit Paro Dzong or Dumtseg Lhakhang.
