The Taichung National Theatre houses an opera house with 2009 seats, a playhouse with 800 seats and a small theatre space with 160 seats. Its construction has transformed Taichung through the creation of a cultural hub in the city.

Fengjia Night Market or Feng Chia Night Market, also called Fengjia Shopping Town, is a night market located in Xitun District, Taichung, Taiwan. The market is located next to Feng Chia University. It has been claimed to be the largest night market in Taiwan.

The military settlement Caihong is a former settlement for soldiers and today an art monument in the Taiwanese city of Taichung. The park-like complex is known for colorfully painted buildings.

This place is seen as the lung of Taichung city. The greenway stretches from National Museum of Natural Science, going through a river, a big shopping mall, restaurants/ food stands, all the way to National Taichung Museum of Fine Arts. The length of the greenway is 3.8 kilometers, filled with trees and beautiful flowers.

Calligraphy Greenway is a linear park in the West District, Taichung, Taiwan. The name is most commonly used for the section known as Jingguo Greenway.
