Ahsan Manzil is also known as the Pink Palace. This was the official residential palace and seat of the Nawab of Dhaka. It was constructed in the Indo-Saracenic Revival architecture. It has been designated as a national museum.

Shamim Sikder built the first, and one of the largest, sculpture gardens in the country.
