3 Days Etosha National Park Private Camping Tour

Even Etosha National Park is most accessible national park in Southern Africa, we recommend to travel with experienced guide who knows where the animals are. Etosha National Park is huge and vast big area, guide will assist you to find the animals with his good sight. and you will enjoy the barbecue dinner at first night which is locally called ''Braai'' you will fall in love with tasty spiced meat!


Itinerary

Day 1: Windhoek - Etosha

Stop At: Otjiwarongo, Namibia
After 2 hours of drive from Windhoek, we can stop at small city called Otjiwarongo for a toilet break.
Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Outjo, Outjo, Kunene Region
Stop over at small town called Outjo after 30 minutes of drive from Otjiwarongo. We can go to supermarket for buying snacks and drinks and have a lunch break at Outjo bakery (own account).
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Okaukuejo, Okaukuejo, Oshikoto Region
After 1 hour drive from Outjo, We will enter Etosha National park from Anderson gate. Check in at Okaukuejo camp and set up our tent.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Etosha National Park, Etosha National Park, Oshikoto Region
We will go for game drive, drive through different waterholes in Etosha in search of variety animals. We will go back to our camp before sunset.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Okaukuejo waterhole, Etosha National Park Namibia
Okaukuejo camp has a own waterhole which allow us to see the animal activities in the night. After the dinner, we will wait quietly at waterhole, then you might able to see the rare species such as rhinos, hyenas and lions. If you are a morning person, try again in the early morning.
Duration: 1 hour

• Dinner: Barbeque dinner will be prepared by guide at campsite with your assistance
Accommodation included: Over night at NWR campsite (inside Etosha National Park)

Day 2: Etosha Full day Safari experience

Stop At: Etosha National Park, Etosha National Park, Oshikoto Region
After breakfast, start driving towards East, pass through different waterholes to see animals, stop at Etosha pan view point to see the vast open expanse of salt pan. Lunch at Halali (own account), After lunch break, continue game driving and drive back to camp.
Duration: 5 hours

Stop At: Okaukuejo, Okaukuejo, Oshikoto Region
Enjoy relax time at camp. Okaukuejo camp has a bar and swimming pool.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Okaukuejo waterhole, Etosha National Park Namibia
We can try again to see the animal activity in the night at waterhole.
You might also hear the sound of elephants or roar of lions.
Duration: 1 hour

Day 3: Etosha - Windhoek

Pass By: Okaukuejo, Okaukuejo, Oshikoto Region
After breakfast, pack all camping stuff and leave Etosha, We can drive through some more waterholes between camp to the gate to say good bye to Etosha. Drive about 5 hours to back to Windhoek

Stop At: Otjiwarongo, Otjiwarongo, Otjozondjupa Region
Lunch break. We can take away our lunch from shop and eat somewhere on the road under the tree.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Okahandja, Okahandja, Otjozondjupa Region
Stop over at small town called Okahandja for a toilet break and checking wood carving market. Stalls are operating by locals. Check nicely and you might find a nice souvenir with nice price and right opposite the market, you will find the biltong shop, biltong is a spiced dried meat like a beef jerky. Okahandja is also known for biltong.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Windhoek, Windhoek, Khomas Region
After 45 minutes of drive from Okahandja, we arrive in Windhoek in the afternoon. You will be dropped off at your hotel.
Duration: 10 minutes
