Cocora Valley Birding-hiking experience with Breakfast & lunch
This activity combines the birding and hiking, a new way to discover Cocora Valley designed for all of those adventurous that enjoy to learn about the incredible fauna and flora of Colombia, Central-Andes and its history and culture.
Birds had taken over the entire valley, come with us and discover dozens of birds in Cocora such as, Hummingbirds, Colorful Tanagers, amazing Toucans and the incredible Andean Condor, the largest flying bird in the world.
ItineraryThis is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Valle del Cocora, Salento Colombia
We set off from Salento early in the morning to Cocora Valley, upon arrival we will hike up to the top of the montain. Walking along the river and crossing over the 6 bridges like the Indiana Jones style.
We will have our picnic at the top of the montain, where we can see incredible hummingbirds right in front of us and see the stunning montain of Morrogacho.
The way down is a 4.5km path where we can see birds and visit the stunning view points until we get to the end and visit the palm trees. Then we go back to Salento.
