Itinerary

Day 1: Full salt flats experience

Stop At: Train Cemetery, Uyuni Bolivia
Explore the graveyard of the first Bolivian locomotives. This place has lot of history and works well as a giant playground for adults.
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Colchani, Colchani, Potosi Department
Learn about the production of salt in Bolivia. There's a chance to explore around shopping handicrafts and original woolen clothes for good prices. This is the entrance to the Salt Flats
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Salar de Uyuni, Uyuni Bolivia
We spend most of the time here. Besides the mirror reflection and perspective photos, we'll see the first hotel made entirely of salt, flag island, Dakar monument, Giant Cacti Island to end up seeing a beautiful sunset in the largest salt desert on earth.

After all this, we head to our accommodation. Tayka de Sal Hotel.
Duration: 6 hours

Day 2: Into the Andean deserts

Pass By: Salar de Chiguana, Bolivia
Another salt desert which is brown colored and smaller than Uyuni.

Stop At: Mirador Volcán Ollagüe, JXRF+GFG, Piedra Grade, Bolivia
We'll be seeing one of the active volcanoes of Bolivia in this viewpoint located 10 km away.
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Laguna Canapa, Uyuni Bolivia
Andean salty lagoon with a few flamingos.
Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Laguna Hedionda, Potosi Bolivia
Smelly lagoon where hundreds of flamingos like to chill.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Siloli Desert, Uyuni Bolivia
At an altitude near 5000 m.a.s.l., this is one of the driest and highest deserts in the world.
Here we will see the famous stone tree.
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve of Andean Fauna, Bolivia
The place to find wild pink flamingos laying in the Red Lagoon.
Duration: 30 minutes

Meals included:

Day 3: Hot springs and Geysers time!

Stop At: Geiser Sol de la Manana, Avaroa National Reserve, Uyuni Bolivia
We wake up super early to see the geysers at their best. This place is located at 4800 m.a.s.l., it could pretty cold but we will start seeing the first rays of morning sun.
Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Aguas Termales de Polques, Next to Cerro Faldajara, Uyuni Bolivia
Hotsprings for us! this location has a lot of volcanic activity and from here we will be able to recover energies and see the sunrise.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Pass By: Salvador Dali Desert, Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve Bolivia
The most surrealistic desert of Bolivia.

Stop At: Laguna Verde, Bolivia
Green Lagoon in the south corner of Bolivia. From here, we will be able to see the Licancabur volcano, a natural border between Bolivia and Chile.
This is our last attraction before going back to Uyuni.
On the way to Uyuni we will make different stops to use toilets or buy snacks and have lunch.
Duration: 15 minutes
