Day 1: Ancient Corinth-Mycenae-Nafplio

Stop At: Corinth Canal, Isthmia, Loutraki 201 00 Greece
It had been an inspiration for almost 2500 years ! The man who first had the idea was Periandros the tyrant from Corinth. He found it difficult on the way but he came up to another interesting idea ! The name of it was diolkos. For those who had money and didn’t want to sail around Peloponnese peninsula. Finally after several people trying to succeed in this huge achievement, the canal was constructed in 1893 !

Stop At: Ancient Corinth (Archaia Korinthos), Argous 105 Ancient Korinthos village, Corinth 200 07 Greece
An important city-state of the ancient Peloponnese ! Its position was decisive for the commerce. Having as well very fertile soil it was considered to be the richest city of the ancient world ! Splendid buildings such as the Doric temple of Apollo (560 BC), the Isthmian Games (similar to those in Olympia), the agora, the fountain of Peirene, the Roman concert hall, the baths and so on are of great interest.

Stop At: Archaeological site of Mycenae, Mykines 212 00, Greece
You will visit the place of an important City State of the ancient Peloponnese. The kingdom of mythical Agamemnon . The richest palatial center of the late Bronze age in Greece.You will also visit the museum in the same area.

Day 2: Ancient Olympia

Stop At: Archaeological Site of Olympia, Archea Olympia, Olympia 27065 Greece
The most celebrated Greek sanctuary dedicated to the worship of Zeus, the father of the gods in whose honour Pan-Hellenic Games were held every four years from 776 BC until 393 AD.
