The tour starts in Biarritz, a famous imperial City also known for its surf spirit! We will explore the past of this ancient harbor that became the summer holiday destination of the European aristocracy in the 19th century. But Biarritz is also known as the capital of surfing in Europe, as we surfed the first waves here in 1957!

Stop At: Le Moulin de Bassilour, Quartier Bassilour, 64210 Bidart France

You will then be invited to taste the flavors of the Basque cake in an ancient mill in Bidart. Your guide will tell you the story of this ancient cake, made of pastry cream or … cherries!

We will then be heading south and crossing Guéthary, an authentic fishing village also famous for its whale hunting past in the 14th century! We will drive along the famous Basque Corniche, where the secrets of these breathtaking cliffs await. Encounter our local giant, the 18-meter Belharra wave, which comes to life once a year!

Stop At: Cidrerie Txopinondo, Chemin de la Cidrerie Zone Artisanale Lan Zelai, 64310 Ascain France

For Lunchtime, enjoy a local meal in a Basque Traditional Cider House (Not included in the price). Experience the taste of the Txuletta, our local beef ribs, and the flavors of our local Ossau Iraty Cheese with a glass of Basque Cider! After lunch, your guide will introduce you to the tradition of Basque linens, famous for its long and colorful stripes. You’ll have the opportunity to visit our last Basque linen manufacturing shop.

Our last stop will be in Espelette. This village proudly upholds the tradition of cultivating Espelette peppers, which are meticulously dried by hanging them directly on the front of houses. Discover the secrets of our "Red Gold" and savor its rich flavors with Annie, a local producer. Enjoy free time in the village before returning to Biarritz.
