Itinerary

The Sip & Savour Wine Tour is focused on tantalising the taste buds, with food pairings to compliment your Waiheke Island wine tasting experience, followed by a shared platter style lunch among the vines. Come and indulge in everything Waiheke as you Sip & Savour your way across the island.

On arrival to Waiheke Island one of our representatives will be waiting on the wharf to welcome you to our beautiful island. Look out for “The Wine Tasting Company” sign board.

Our tour starts off with a scenic drive as you soak up the sights of our magical island, from galleries, shops, restaurants, vines and golden sand beaches. Your local tour guide will share stories about Waiheke, our discovery of wine and olives, our celebrities “world famous on Waiheke” of course and our little visitors (Godwits) who have chosen Waiheke as part of their international stop over.

You will enjoy some food pairing wine tastings, followed by a shared platter style lunch + glass of wine.

Waiheke Island is only a 45min ferry ride from Auckland, making this tour an ideal option for day trippers, with a tour duration of approx.. 5.5 hours.

Arrive at downtown Auckland ferry terminal located at 99 Quay st. at 8:15am to ensure you make the 09:00 am Fullers sailing from Auckland to Waiheke Island. Ferry tickets can be purchased online to save time on the day.

On arrival to Waiheke, one of our representative will be holding a sign board with "THE WINE TASTING COMPANY" on it, to welcome you to our beautiful Island.
