2-Hour Cheese, Wine and Extra Virgin Olive Oil Guided Tasting
With born and raised Caprese chef, Gianluca, guests will enjoy an authentic experience. Bringing professionalism and attention to detail from 12 years of restaurant ownership, combined with a relaxed and welcoming garden setting, guests will enjoy an extension of the cheese and wine tastings they held in their restaurant for over 8 years.
His Australian wife, Holly, will entertain guests with the history of the cheeses, wines, and extra virgin olive oil and how they interplay with Caprese cuisine and culture.
Guests will experience a 5-course cheese and wine pairing and extra virgin olive oil tasting in our outdoor artisan kitchen in a villa in Anacapri.
Delicious local cheeses such as fior di latte, mozzarella di bufala DOP, caciotta, caciocavallo, and Provolone del Monaco DOP will be perfectly paired with our Michel'angelo white, rose and red wine varieties (including IGT and DOCG wines), while polishing your Italian cheese knowledge and learning about the grapes and olives of Campania.
Guests will also taste 5 varieties of our extra virgin olive oil learning about tasting techniques, olive harvesting, and production of extra virgin olive oil. The perfect afternoon aperitivo session before easing into the Caprese nightlife.

For transfers to/from Anacapri, the pick up location is at Piazza della Pace bus terminal on Viale de Tommaso. This is the bus terminal for the buses to the Blue Grotto and the Lighthouse.
