This tour will take you to discover the Ionian Salento coast with its symbolic Gallipoli Town starting from Lecce and crossing the peninsula among typical villages and vineyards also stopping, as an optional choice, in one of the most important Salento winery for a delicious wine tasting experience. There will be no shortage of stops along the amazing coast to fully enjoy the breathtaking views that will show you. The journey will go on to a wonderful beach where you could get a swim and have refreshment before your tour among narrow alleys, shops and sea views of which Gallipoli will surprise you.

Stop At: Nardò, Province of Lecce, Italy

Transfer from Lecce to Nardò 30 minutes.
Independent visit to Nardò Historic Center.
A beautiful little medieval city with lots of historical Baroque buildings, the Castle which now hosts the municipal offices, and many Churches. The most beautiful is the Basilica Cathedral founded in the 11th Century, but all of that are unique.

Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Nardo, Nardo, Province of Lecce, Puglia

Eventuality of wine tasting tour in the Cellar.
You can choose to get an independent wine tasting tour in one of the most important local winery (advance booking is required).
Are available different kind of experiences from 3 to 4 glasses of different grapes wine, a little appetizer made with taralli and focaccia bread, also typical cheese for 2nd option, and a full experience with 5 glasses of wine that includes a cold cuts platter too.
The wine tasting cost goes from 25 to 35 euro/person and will be paid in the winery as your needs.
In the case the wine tasting won't be done, the time will be spent in the next halts as customer needs.

Transfer to Gallipoli Beach with short stop at 4 Towers fortification and the cutted mountain.

Stop at Rivabella beach. Here we'll stop for enjoying the place where you can find free beach as well as lovely private lidos, so bring your swimsuit for being delighted by an amazing sea.

Gallipoli, the Ionian sea's pearl town is divided into two parts, the modern and the old city. The new town includes the newest buildings like a skyscraper. The ancient city is located on a limestone island, linked to the mainland by a bridge built in 16th century. Here you'll have free time to find out the historic center characterized by narrow streets crowed by local handicraft shops, lovely baroque Churches and aristocratic Palaces. Also worth seeing are the Cathedral, one of the best examples of Baroque in Salento, the Castle built in the 13th century and the Greek Fountain, one of the oldest in Italy.
Transfer from Gallipoli to Lecce 40 minutes.
Note: The remaining hours for tour duration will be spend on the travel.
