Danube Valley Day Trip from Vienna

This day trip takes you from Vienna to the Wachau, a picturesque valley along the Danube. You will see many medieval castles, grand monasteries and a breathtaking landscape. Passing the small town of Krems and the ruins of Dürnstein castle, we continue to the village of Spitz on the Danube river. From here you will have an impressive boat trip on the Danube to Melk (only in summer) and you will have a visit of Krems/Dürnstein depending on the season. The Highlight will be the guided tour through the magnificent Benedictine Abbey (the admission is part of the all inclusive option or the winter package). If you would like to skip the Melk Abbey admission, please choose the basic summer option.

Take an impressive boat trip on the Danube from Spitz to Melk (only in summer). On the dates with no boat ride, we invite you for lunch.

As part of the all iniclusive option, you can get a guided tour through the magnificent Benedictine Abbey (depending on which option you choose).

On your boat trip (in summer) you will pass the picturesque Schönbühel Castle below Melk on the right bank of the Danube.
