Stargazing from the coast with an amazing sky conditions of this Starlight Reserve

Itinerary

We will observe the cosmos from the coastline of Menorca Island. We will take advantage of the exceptional sky conditions of this Starlight reserve and the magical atmosphere of the island to immerse ourselves in the universe. Our certified guides will take you through space:

We will identify the main constellations visible on that night.
We will recount mythological tales (Hercules, Andromeda, Cassiopeia, the Bears, Draco...).
We will orient ourselves in the sky to make star leaps, applying the principles of positional astronomy.
We will observe deep space objects through the telescope (open clusters, globular clusters, binary stars, etc.).
On moonlit nights, we will observe its seas and craters. Their formation and mythology.
We will understand that observing the cosmos is inherent to our essence, since the human being is as we know it today.
We will see our place in the Milky Way and invite you to feel part of the cosmic miracle.
Finally, we will take a nighttime photo with the stars in the background.
