Wonderful Waterfalls Tour

We'll travel an historic highway and learn why it's an engineering marvel! View spectacular sights along astounding Columbia River Gorge, like the famous Vista House on Crown Point, with architecture and gift shop of local goods, and Women's Forum Park with its charming history and epic view.

Feel the spray of majestic Multnomah Falls, with its triple cascade, where you can cross a stone bridge halfway up the waterfall and take in the view of Oregon's "Rhine Valley." This is also the site of a rustic historic inn.

Then a short walk on a trail through forested area takes you up close to Latourell falls, which spills past the dramatic collision of cloud basalt and columnar basalt.

We will visit at least one to two additional waterfalls, depending on timing, each with its own unique character, whether whipping the air like a horse tail or fanning out like a bridal veil.

We will travel a historic highway and view spectacular sights along astounding Columbia River Gorge.

Stop At: Portland Women's Forum State Scenic Viewpoint, State Highway 30, Troutdale, OR 97060

Hear the enchanting history of Chanticleer Point, a geographical landmark on the Oregon side of the Columbia River Gorge. It is a beautiful location from which to take photos of the gorge.

Stop At: Crown Point State Park, Not Available, Corbett, OR 97019

Crown Point is a basalt promontory on the Columbia River Gorge offering unparalleled views.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Vista House, 40700 E Historic Columbia River Hwy, Corbett, OR 97019-9725

Visit the Vista House at Crown Point, built in 1917 on one of the most beautiful scenic points on the Historic Columbia River Highway. There is a gift shop here with local artisan goods.

A short, easy hike takes you up close to this spectacular waterfall, with its incredible rock formations.

Duration: 30 minutes

Marvel at this majestic double waterfall! A short-to-moderate hike takes you to a bridge close to the spray. Or witness the majesty from the ground. The rustic lodge has an adorable gift shop, and a snack bar that serves chocolate chip cookies larger than your head!
