Historic Center Walking Tour in Florianopolis with Local Bar Hop

As a Historian I am able to tell you the B side story, the story that has been hidden by the elite. We don't start talking about the first Portuguese settlers, we start with the Sambaqui Men, the first indigenous group to occupy the Island of Santa Catarina. We also make sure to clarify the role slavery has played in the foundations of the Brazilian Republic. But we also celebrate the time we are living in by gathering for a beer at a local traditional bar.

In Florianopolis Main Square we can observe and live the local social life under the shade of a giant fig tree

In here we can observe the old dock and the statue of a local War Hero.
