Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Bahnhof Thun, Seestrasse 2, 3600 Thun, Switzerland

We will meet across the street from the train station. We'll discuss logistics a bit, and then proceed.

Duration: 5 minutes

Stop At: Mühleplatz, Mühlepl., 3600 Thun, Switzerland

This plaza is a great place to relax on the banks of the River Aare. We can stop by for refreshments, or watch the surfers in the water (Thun is one of the few places in Europe where it is possible to surf).

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Obere Hauptgasse, Thun Switzerland

We'll wander the historical old town, including the Obere Hauptgasse with its raised pavements and beautiful shops.

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Rathausplatz, Thun Switzerland

The old town hall is the heart of Thun’s historical centre. We'll be taking photos of the plaza, as well as the castle and church (there's a nice view from here).

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Schloss Thun, Schlossberg 1, Thun 3600 Switzerland

We'll be climbing up to Thun Castle, and taking photos of the beautiful city panorama from the shadow of this medieval fortress.

(If we have group members with special mobility needs, we will take the elevator instead of the stairs).

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Stadtkirche Thun, Schlossberg 14, 3600 Thun, Switzerland

We'll be strolling next to the beautiful old church on the Schlossberg, and you'll find some of the hidden spots to take panoramic views of the city and the river Aare.

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Flusswelle Thun, Ob. Schleuse, 3600 Thun, Switzerland

We'll pass by the river and the old wooden bridges. If we're lucky, we might see the surfers on the river.
We'll have a beautiful view of the river banks to photograph from here.

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Quai Brahms, Brahms-Quai, 3600 Thun, Switzerland

Will stroll along the river on the Brahms-Quai, admiring Castle Schadau across the river. Depending on the time, we might also see the ferry pass us by.

Duration: 40 minutes

Stop At: Obere Schleuse, Ob. Schleuse, 3600 Thun, Switzerland

We will return to the train station via Scherzligschleuse. This is one of the old wooden bridges that houses the sluice gates for the river. Here you can practice low-light photography and produce images with a darker look.

Duration: 5 minutes

Stop At: Bahnhof Thun, Seestrasse 2, 3600 Thun, Switzerland

We will end our tour where we started, across the street from the train station.
