The Porte Dijeaux is also known as the Porte Dauphine (under Louis XIV).

Sweet Tasting of Dunes Blanches
After 25 minutes of baking in our special "cabbage dough" ovens, they come out golden brown. Once they have come down to room temperature, each crisp cabbage is topped by hand with a light, airy cream.

Listed as a historic monument since 28 May 1883. The Porte Cailhau is situated in the heart of Bordeaux's old town, overlooking the Garonne River. It stands at the northern end of the Place du Palais, near the Palais de Justice and the Grosse Cloche. Built in the late 15th century, around 1494, the Porte Cailhau served as one of the main gates to the city of Bordeaux.
