Our guides love this city and are avid cyclists. We will take you to places that are special and show you why so many publications are rating Charlotte as a great place to visit and live. This is the best way to experience the city! You will be able to experience popular areas up close. Your guide will share the best Charlotte has to offer both in Center City and the hip and vibrant adjacent neighborhoods. We highly recommend that all participants be experienced, confident cyclists who are very comfortable riding on main city streets.

Itinerary

Stop At: Romare Bearden Park, 300 S Church St, Charlotte, NC 28202-1913

Pause for a beautiful photo of the skyline in Charlotte's Uptown Park. This park is dedicated to the memory of Romare Bearden, an African American Artist from the area.

Duration: 5 minutes

Stop At: Mint Museum Uptown, 500 S Tryon St Levine Center for the Arts, Charlotte, NC 28202-1811

At this stop (outside the museum), we will learn about the roots of the Mint Museum as well as the other museums in the area.

Duration: 5 minutes

Stop At: Bechtler Museum of Modern Art, 420 S Tryon St, Charlotte, NC 28202-1937

At this brief stop in front of the Bechtler, you will have an opportunity to take a picture with Charlotte's iconic Firebird Statue created by Niki de Saint Phalle.

Pass By: Latta Park, 601 E Park Ave, Charlotte, NC 28203, USA

Latta Park was designed by Frederick Law Olmstead. We will pass by the park in route to the Duke Mansion

Stop At: The Duke Mansion, 400 Hermitage Rd, Charlotte, NC 28207, USA

If there are no private events being held, we will tour the grounds of the mansion and learn about the history of Myers Park neighborhood.

Stop At: Camp North End, 300 Camp Rd, Charlotte, NC 28206-4005

We will share the history of this vibrant and popular section just north of Charlotte's Uptown.

Duration: 5 minutes

Stop At: NoDa, Charlotte, NC, USA

This is one of Charlotte's gems. We will pass through while making a stop for people to take in the sites of this eclectic area of town.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Plaza Midwood, Charlotte, NC 28205, USA

This is by far Charlotte's most diverse and cool neighborhood. You are always welcome here. It is home to some of Charlotte's best locally owned restaurants and bars as well as home to many well-loved ethnic cuisine restaurants in the city. We will stop off at the Common Market where both bankers and broke folk mingle for a beer.
