2 Hours African American History E-Bike Tour in Charlotte

Pause for a beautiful photo of the skyline in Charlotte's Uptown Park. This park is dedicated to the memory of Romare Bearden, an African American Artist from the area.

Pass By: The Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture, 551 S Tryon St Levine Center for the Arts, Charlotte, NC 28202-1839

The Gantt Center was designed by Phil Frelon, the same architect that designed the National Museum of African American History in Washington DC.

Pass By: Mecklenburg Investment Company Building, 229 S Brevard St, Charlotte, NC 28202, USA

The MIC building was the original coworking space, designed by and for African American small business owners.

Pass By: Johnson C. Smith University, 100 Beatties Ford Rd, Charlotte, NC 28216, USA

JCSU, an HBCU in the Historic West End, was founded by the Presbyterian Church to educate black men in the ministry post Civil War. Today it is still an important part of Charlottes future.
