Hiking tour to the highest point of Arrábida mountain

Go inside of Arrábida natural park, explore the mystical paths guided by a local guide specialized in local flora and fauna. Arrábida presents a series of specificities that, together,justify the presence of plant communities that are unique in the world and rich in evolutionary history, forming unique dynamics of ecological succession, in other words, an outstanding plant landscape of great singularity.This is a physical and emotional experience that will take you to the top of the Arrábida mountain, a spiritual place of contemplation of mother nature.

Itinerary

You will start this hike with a degree of difficulty med-high accompanied by an experienced guide that will show you and explain you the fauna and local flora. The exuberence of the vegetation makes it different from everything surrounding it.  You ´ll head to owards the cliff slope via zigzagged paths through the middle of dense vegetation. When we reach the top of the mountain (501m) . From the top of Arrabida mountain the view is amazing!!! The Arrábida Chain is one of the most beautiful and significant natural areas of Mediterranean influence, forming a landscape of excepcional aesthetic value. Over its mountains, or in the shadows of its valleys and peaks, the horizon offers

one of the most beautiful landscapes in Portugal and in the world, where the mountains are an orographic barrier between the sea and the land. From its height of 501 metres, Formosinho(top of Arrabida) offers a wide panorama over the surrounding region. 

This is not a beginners' hiking, but in the end the effort during the arduous course wins the sacrifice
