During the tour, you'll be introduced to Star, the unofficial yet beloved mascot of Anchorage, Alaska. You'll have the chance to not only meet this charming creature but also understand the distinct differences between caribou and reindeer. While these two animals are similar and hail from the same species, their physical characteristics and habits set them apart. The tour culminates in a special opportunity to meet and possibly even feed Star under the watchful eye of her dedicated caretaker, making for a truly unique and memorable experience.

The park itself stands as a testament to the quake's profound impact, with a section of the Turnagain neighborhood having slid into the ocean during the disaster.
