Some of the sights you’ll see include the Titanic Memorial—commissioned shortly after the tragic sinking in 1912 to honor the men who gave up their seats on the lifeboats—the historic city of Alexandria, and the famous military defense of Fort Washington. During this 90-minute cruise, you’ll enjoy a continental breakfast as you soak up the gorgeous surroundings and arrive at Mount Vernon Ferry Landing relaxed and ready to delve deeper into the past!

Step inside his private study, walk in his footsteps through Mount Vernon’s halls, and see the bedroom where he took his last breath. You’ll get to see the daily workings of the estate, including the blacksmith’s shop, the greenhouse, and the fruit garden in addition to getting an insight into lives of the enslaved people who worked on the estate. You’ll see the Old Tomb—where he was initially laid to rest—along with his final resting place on the estate.
