Brooklyn Handmade Italian Pasta Cooking Class

You are going to start off with touching and knowing the right ingredients (imported from Italy), and then get ready to get your hands really dirty!
You are going to prepare two kinds of pasta: tortelli filled with fresh local ricotta and spinach, and tagliatelle.
While mixing with your hands, you and your host Michela will cheer with unlimited wine to good food, and good company! While you are waiting for the pasta dough to rest you will enjoy a real Italian aperitivo with a charcuterie board.

Do you want to know how to cook real fresh Italian pasta with all the tricks that made Italy the country of Pasta- I’m going to teach you all the knowledge that my family (especially my grandmother) passed down to me since I was very little.

About your host Michela:
“I moved to Brooklyn into my husbands’ grandparents’ 100-year-old home from my home town in Brisighella, Italy, right out Tuscany. My perspective of food is ancient and respectful of each ingredient I use in my meals, just as my grandparents taught me. Guests can expect homemade family recipes passed down through the ages.”
