Experience local favorite Mar Chiquita Beach, characterized by its beautiful landscape of giant water cliffs, crystal clear waters, white sand, perfect for sunbathing and swimming. Mar Chiquita is a half-moon beach in which salt water rushes in and out through an opening within the limestone wall. The rocks serve as a protective barrier between the sand cove and the open Atlantic Ocean waters. The natural beauties found there invite thousands of locals and foreigners, which feel drawn to visit the beach continuously and enjoy its charms.

Enjoy a short “Chinchorreo” (Puerto Rico’s traditional local bar hopping activity).

Stop At: Puerto Nuevo Beach, Vega Baja 00693 Puerto Rico
Visit the popular Puerto Nuevo Beach which is characterized by its beautiful landscape of rock formations, that provide protection from the violent northern swells, and two types of water conditions. On the right side facing the ocean you will find a natural pool gently filled and flushed constantly by waves. Most of the time you will find calm water conditions which are shallow at the edge and deeper in the middle. Towards the left side facing the ocean you will find the main beach cove connected to the open ocean waters. However, the right side of the cove is partially protected by the limestone rocks, while left side of the cove provides more wavy conditions.
